Pool Cabanas
Settle into your private cabana, complete with lounge chairs, flat screen TVs, Wi Fi, bottled water, snacks and fresh towels. Everything you need for a full day of relaxation is right at your fingertips. Upgrade options include alcoholic beverages and credit towards dining. Private cabanas are available for rental from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The Kona Kai Marina is excited to share amenities with the Kona Kai San Diego Resort. Whether you choose to relax on your boat, at the pool or on the beach, the Kona Kai Marina is San Diego’s most desired boater’s getaway.
Cruiser Bikes
See San Diego on our complimentary Zybra bikes. Our resort is located in one of the most bike-friendly parts of the city, so you can explore our part of San Diego Bay while getting fresh air and exercise. Helmets and locks are provided with each bike. The first two hours are complimentary.

Private Beach
Join us on the only private beach in San Diego for bean bag toss, sandcastle building and bonfires. Don’t forget to take advantage of our s’more kits available at our front desk to complete your waterfront experience.
Direct water access is not permitted by the Port of San Diego due to the volume of marine vessel traffic in the San Diego Bay La Playa Yacht Basin.
SpaTerre & Fitness Center
Unwind and destress in our signature spa, which features six treatment rooms, a relaxation room and eucalyptus steam room. For those who prefer to work out the stress, our fitness center has all the equipment you’ll need.
Pet-Friendly Hotel
Kona Kai San Diego invites four-legged friends to enjoy the ultimate in hosPETality at our Shelter Island oasis. We welcome two dogs up to 65 pounds with a non-refundable pet charge of $100 for up to three nights or $150 for up to seven nights.
